It’s Northern Michigan location and scenic overlook of the Au Sable River make it a nature-lover’s paradise, and with three bedrooms and 2 and a half baths it very comfortably accommodates up to 8 people.

Nature and Culture

There are adventures abound in Grayling. The town itself has unique shops, live entertainment, and restaurants that are open year round. As the Canoe Capital of the World, Grayling has hosted the Au Sable River Canoe Marathon every July since 1947. In the warm months, canoe and kayak trips may be taken down the Au Sable and Manistee rivers, and the fishing here is known to anglers nationwide. Biking, hiking, golfing, picnicking, festivals, and fall color tours are all common local entertainment.

During the winter months, downhill skiing, snowboarding, sledding, ice-skating, and ice fishing are available. Many come here for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling, as our annual snowfall is high for the region. Whichever activities you choose, round out your day of excitement with an evening cup of hot cocoa or a hot-buttered rum by the hearth.
